Lightbulb Instrumental Metal Song

Recorded this last night. Havn't had a chance to mix it yet.
Drums are sounding abit lame.

slow tempo

Critic on guitars/song structure?

Good structure

Guitar tone is pretty good just a bit fuzzy

couple spots the two guitars are not quite time

I liked the song overall

The breakdown part was my least favorite

I like the slower tempo.. not the norm for this style

Brutal honesty: I was waiting on the first guitar solo to pick back up, but it was already over - it ended abruptly.

The structure/instrumentation isn't interesting enough for an instrumental song. If there was a good melodic solo through the majority of the song it would be good as an instrumental song.

Temperance: I like the song, with good vocals I would really dig on it. As it was it wasn't bad, and I especially like your soloing style which isn't really a "metal" type of soloing, so it creates something unique in the song.

Thanks for the feed back.

Recorded with an m-box, just using standard pro tools amp sims.
Will see what i can do with elastic audio re timing
I agree the breakdown could be improved.

Pretty new to solos so hopefully I can think of a way to extend it.
