Which pedal?
So I'm just starting the electric guitar. I've been learning on an acoustic. I just bought a vox ad100 amp. I've been seeing very good things about it. What is a good effects pedal to run to it to get real trippy sounds out of it.
Thanks |

I appreciate you're just starting out, but your question is incredibly vague.
Define what you mean by 'trippy'.

Digitech Whammy? ZVex Fuzz Factory? Way Huge Ringworm? Danelectro Sitar Swami? Boss DS1?

Digital delays are fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun. As are combining pedals. Check out Line 6's digital delay pedal. That's a good one. Also check out a well-played Gibson plugged into a Marshall turned up far louder than it reasonably should be. That's the best and trippiest of all. Wahs too, though sparingly.

I liked that danelectro back talk. I just got 2 of their guitars to learn on. Although I don't think they're anything to special. They'll work for now

huh? Fun, what do you want to achieve with fun? There are a thousand and one fun things you can do with your tone, but you kinda need to tell us what you want first.
I always wanted a Boss Slow Gear... that is a really neat effect.

You can get the foot switch for that amp from vox. Then you can make up your own patches and select them via foot switch using the onboard FX's.
Modeling amps don't play well with out-board FX pedals well most of the time.
