Hi all

I've just turned my spare bedroom into studio to record. This is the first track I recorded and I'm going to to include it as first track in an EP of instrumentals going to put together. I actually nearly canned the whole thing - all I had was the strings, bass and drums and I couldn't really get anything going - it was only when added distorted chords and the extra guitar riffs that it began to fall in place and now I'm really pleased with the end result. I'd love to hear any criticism/comments before I carry on with rest of EP

Some incredibly awesome ideas in there! Only things I can pick out:

The distorted guitar chords sound too harsh to me. Might just be my headphones.

The distorted lead guitar doing all the trills and stuff came out of time in a little places.

Aside from that, it was really great! I'm thinking of making a track like this for my own little EP I'm working on. Overall a really nice track, and a great way to start off an album
