I enjoyed the classes having specializations in weapon types but they kinda messed it up. You were kinda pigeon holed inti using the weapons that class was "supposed" to use.

I know (that post wasn't directed necessarily at Bordrlands itself)! But seriously it sometimes hampers gameplay for single player.

But really though the only time it was a bitch in Borderlands 1 was with rocket launchers. They were ****ing useless if you weren't Brick. Or co-op. If you were a non Rogue without a few points in Gunslinger you couldn't contribute anything as Mordecai in a team until you had a really good Sniper, Scavenger (rare items), Survivor, or Assassin com with a great revolver/repeater. Lilith ran all the fighting, Roland was basically just a medic... The classes were very unbalanced because of the weapon specialties

EDIT: Nope its been out since the 18th in 'Murrica.

It's was released in America Monday, so I'm using a VPN so that Steam thinks I'm based in America, and lets me play it.

Also - is it possible to customise your skin mid-game? In the original you could do it at New-You stations, but I can't seem to find how to do it in the second.

My cousin and I ran into this as well.
After getting Claptrap to his boat we went back to finish up the sidequests in the area, and when we came back we had to fight Flynt again and the boat was gone.

It's not actually a glitch though, it's for convenience.
The boat is put right outside the town, at the end of the little ice lake.

The quest marker even leads you there.

My character's name is "Sucky Sucky $5", so the easy sex will just be the icing on the cake for you.

Yeah, I can only play for about that long myself! I'll actually be on in around 2 hours, but Jackal wont be joining until 17:00ish.

So far I've only dropped Skill Points into the healing from killing enemies in Phaselock skill, and the Increase shield capacity skill.

Sounds good, I'l just wait until I see you get on.

I've done about 8 points in Harmony, enough to heal when you phaselock people and have healing bullets, and now I'm going all the way down Cataclysm and working on just being an elemental badass. And I have a 3% team health regen classmod. So I don't think anyone's gonna die when they play with us

I can't remember what class mod I've got equipped, but I'm got an artifact equipped that increase rare drop rates, so that should come in pretty handy!

Yeah, I've been using that one as well. Haven't been able to justify using any other artifacts when there's that one.
