is it muted?
do you have headphones or monitors plugged into your interface?

Couple options - (1) you muted the backing track itself (doubtful). (2) You don't have the monitor turned on the track or you do but with feedback protection and the is causing the track to be muted, or (3) you don't have the monitor turned on on your interface

Are you mic-ing the guitar or running straight into the interface?

seems like pod 2.0 has no usb output, so you aren't using it as an external sound card. so don't worry about interface comments. but if you want to make sure everything is right, double check and make sure you are using your native input

garageband -> preferences -> audio/midi (tab)

then under the audio/midi tab check 'Audio Input' and make sure that 'Built-In Input' is selected.

i am sorry, but there is not much to help. and what you are saying is a bit to vague for us to help you.

like, why you say 'i can't hear it anymore' are you talking about the guitar you're playing or the backing track.

and when the feedback protection come up, it will mute the track until you choose what to do.

besides, if you follow what this guy says in this youtube video, then you shouldn't have any problems. it sounds like you might not have watched the video.
