TMI Cyclotron Guitar Amplifier

I just put the finishing touches on a TMI Cyclotron amplifier. There is a photo of it attached below.

I posted an album on the TMI Amplification facebook page if anyone is interested in taking a closer look.

This is a Single-Ended ultralinear KT-88 amp with a very high gain preamp. I should have video and soundclips soon.

Thanks man.

It's basically got a super high gain sound to it. The power supply is rather stiff, so it has nice definition and articulation.

Here's a link of some riffs for a song my band is writing. It was recorded using the preamp that's in this amp - but the poweramp is different (it was pretty funny recording with a prototype preamp and prototype poweramp in two different boxes, linked together and sent to my cab). Still, I think you can get a sense of the tight articulation and preamp tone in this clip.

groovy, that's a neat tone combo, It'd be neat for some thrashy hardcore!

Thanks for the kind words man! I'm looking for some local players to showcase some different styles. Even though I'm really into the heavy riffing, I'm not really a thrash player...

Here's a quick youtube video I recorded with this amp awhile back, if anyone is interested in checking out the high gain sounds. I was tracking some rhythm guitar for a song that my recording group is working on...
