looking for a cab for my practice amp suitable for band practice.

I have a 15 watt Crate practice amp, and I'm looking to get cabinet to get a bigger sound for the band I'm joining. We're playing alt/rock/metalcore type stuff, so versatility is a must. I was thinking a Fender Super Champ: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/ampl...speaker-cabinet

I am open to suggestions as I have never bought an extension cab before, and my budget goes up to about $300

Thanks for any input!

15watt's solid state through more speakers is still 15watts solid state, there is just more of it.

if you want bigger / better sound you need to get a new amp first and foremost

Gretsch Setzer Hot Rod
Gretsch Power Jet
Fender Tele
Wizard Modern Classic
Vox Lil' Night Train
Hame 2x12

Yeah, waste of time an money You could get a decent amp (tube or ss) for that money. You could also build your own speaker cabinet for like less than $60.
