Warmer overdrive/distortion for shoegazey tones?
Using a Turbo RAT I inherited. At 9oclock-2-3, it's a pretty nice overdrive, but I'd like something a little less clangy. Not totally undefined and fuzzy like a Big Muff... but a golden, warm, very thick and saturated sound.
Thoughts? |

the rat is a dirt pedal, right?
What amp you using? When I wanna do shoegaze I borrow my friend's Fulltone OCD. awesome tone for Cloudkicker type stuff with my DeVille. |

It really all depends of what flavor of amp you have, as a Spider or other various amps won't really do shoegaze very well.
