Are you trolling, or are you one of the few who thinks Year of the Black Rainbow is their best work? I mean, it's a good album and I love it but it's nowhere near their best and it's actually hated amongst a lot of Coheed fans. Last edited by BurningStarlV : 10-02-2012 at 01:04 PM. |

about half of the songs on the curse are good, and about half of the songs on their last album. other than that, they've released some terrible stuff.Quote:
Agreed. Easily the best song they've done since anything on TFOI. And also a sad reminder of what they could've been.

First off, wtf on the Coheed one. I know its been said, but I'll say it again haha. Second, I don't mind Fuel (even though there a few too many yeah-yeah-yahahaaas from James for me, and I normally think those sound frickin sweet) but every time I hear the opening to the first two Unforgivens I actually get a little worried that its going to be the second and not the first. The second is not even close to as good as the first, imho. And I thought there were a couple more good songs on Mesmerize than that. I almost put it on my list because much of it isn't very solid, and some of it is almost intolerable. Other than that, not a bad list.

Dude, they only have 1 album, unless you're counting EPs. OT: Dream Theater - Peruvian Skies or Hollow Years (Falling Into Infinity) Iron Maiden - The Clansman or Como Estas Amigo (Virtual XI) - unsure if I dislike this album more than No Prayer or Fear of the Dark though, maybe just slightly.

Yeah Aerosmith's Night In The Ruts isnt a good album, Joe Perry left halfway through recording and the rest of the band was too high on heroin to make anything sound good, but "Bone To Bone(Coney Island White Fish Boy)" is one of my favourite Aerosmith songs

"La Tristesse Durera (Scream to a Sigh)" by Manic Street Preachers on Gold Against the Soul. I prefer the song Sleepflower, but this is better lyrically.

it's not really a bad album, just everything after track 4 hasn't been able to hold my attention.

Never got why people hate this album. Counting Bodies Like Sheep, Peace Love and Understanding, Imagine, and Annihilation are awesome songs. It's probably their weakest, but its a covers album somewhat. Of course its not as good as the rest of their stuff.

Soundgarden - Beyond The Wheel (Ultramega OK) although the studio version kinda blows. Terrible production and way too fast. Every live version ever is much better.
