Is that the concensus on them? I was just listening to them about an hour ago and Long Progression is awesome although the others don't blow me away or anything. |

AC/DC when Bon Scott died, if only so that I wouldn't have to hear Brian Johnson's shitty vocals.
Opeth could have called it quits after Ghost Reveries and I wouldn't have minded much. Agreed on 70's Santana. High on Fire after Death Is This Communion. Cynic after Focus.

I agree with everything you said but Pink Floyd. And that image was quite right. Quote:

Ozzy's career when he left Black Sabbath.
Alternatively Black Sabbath if their s/t never took off, just to see how much different music would be.

Radiohead after In Rainbows.
Nothing against TKOL, but it just didn't have the same kick as In Rainbows (however, the From the Basement performances does redeem TKOL quite alot). They'd be considered legends if they quit at In Rainbows, considering how much of a statement it made. King Crimson after Red. One of their greatest works, and although I like their Belew-era stuff, it just doesn't have the same edge as the Wetton-era stuff.

I am actually quite interested in why you think Floyd should have stopped at DSotM.
As a pretty huge Floyd fan myself, I really enjoy listening to WYWH and Animals, in particular. But I also like Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell a lot. And of course, The Wall. I'm just not following you. A lot of good music came from those albums, collectively.

I agree with Dark Side of the Moon, except take the vocoder and the cleverness of Animals and stick it in the dark side of the moon, and release Have a Cigar as a single as their last song ever
Green Day should of stopped at Dookie as well, only post Dookie song that is good is Holiday without the political crap even though I never liked Bush, Time of your life is the worst annoying song piece of crap shit garbage Led Zeppelin before they even started, they should of just made one song Dancing Days and died on a blimp or some shit Whoever said Family Guy and says Family Guy needs to get the **** out I dislike most music and TV shows in general anyway |

The Big Bang Theory has been going down hill ever since they gave three of them girlfriends. I thoroughly enjoyed the first two or three seasons, but they should've quit there.
I still like That 70's Show, but Eric was too main-characterish for me to have the show continue in season 8. The lack of Kelso didn't help either. Also, I disagree with Jericho and Arrested Development being canceled earlier. I was upset enough that they were canceled at all. They may have deviated a little, but they were great up to the last episode.

Bad call. Almost everything up through Love You has gold on it. There's even a handful of great songs until Denny died. I guess that is where I'd have ended it. Battlestar Galactica would have been better with the bleak, bleak, bleak ending of the first half of season 4.

Shit, has Lost been said? I wish it got cancelled after season 3 so it would have went down as being fantastic and gone too soon like Firefly. We'd probably have less questions that need answers too.
