"Electro-rock" and some piano songs! (soundcloud)
Hey all!
I just wanted to get some more exposure for my songs so I can get some constructive criticism so I can better myself as a musician! I hope you like what you hear and would really appreciate the crits (I will C4C too!). ---> http://soundcloud.com/rustausa <--- P.S: I love you ![]()

rustausa,
Are you from Africa or Palmdale, CA or ? P.F. improv: it sounds pretty good, though I kept hoping it would develop into something more elaborate. It is fine as is for background music in my opinion. Please review my music at this link: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...d.php?t=1565363 |

Thanks for the crit. Its just an idea that happened, but I'd maybe develop it more when I have time. And ya, I used to live in Palmdale, but moved back to South Africa (where I am from!). I should update that...

I had a listen to News Paper and it was really good! The lead guitar sounded really sweet haha. There were some really sweet licks in there too
![]() Thanks for the feedback on my work!

I've listened to all of your three song and I really like them. Pink Floydesque improv of course needs to be developed into something more, but you already know that. News paper is my fav, but could use some better mix, there's not enough space in the mix for all the instruments, all of them should be better hearable and lead guitar is too loud. Nonetheless you've got many nice licks there. As for the Forever, it could be fine intro for an album or a song, though I'd wish to hear after it ends some strong, powerful guitar riffs. Keep up the good work

I listened to your Pink Floyd improv song. Not the best quality of sound, but I liked it. It has a nice mood to it, and I think it could be pretty cool if you wrote a whole song off it. The piano sounds good, but I think if you wrote more in to it and made it a little more complex it would be sweet.

Newspaper: The first thing I noticed about this was that the synth and the guitar are a little bit out of synch with the beat. Other than that, the mixing could have been a little better, also.
The music is interesting and sort of video-gamey. That's a solid base to start from. C4C? http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...d.php?t=1565924 |
