Fultone Fulldrive 2 mosfet

Anybody know anything about this pedal? Ive got the chance to pick one up super cheap from a friend, but i know nothing about them. I know fulltone makes quality gear, just wasn't sure what the mosfet setting and the other bells and whistles are all about. thanks! I play a high gain amp so, not really looking for the extra juice...its got plenty on tap. would this be good for anythign else? can i use the boost like a solo channel?

Its pretty much a tubescreamer clone that can be a stock tube screamer, boutique screamer with improved bass response and even a clean boost. Pretty solid pedal all around. The boost channel is, ok. I think it works better if most of the od is coming from the overdrive side of the pedal then you use the boost as a lead channel. If you're boosting a high gain amp with this thing then you kick on the boost I think things will get muddy and undefined, but thats just a guess.

As far as the options, you have classic which is the tubescreamer mid hump, flat which is where the boost is more linear and you don't have that TS mid hump (popular boutique mod) and then comp cut which switches the clipping circuit out and is basically a clean boost that can be dialed in to have a little grit. The MOSFET mode pretty much tightens up the whole thing overall.

I have a long ass demo of one in my profile if you want to hear what one sounds like through a blues jr.

I hear it's a good pedal.

You might get more answers in Guitar Gear & Accessories though!
