Questions
What are some nice modeling delays like the strymon timeline? I want presets, tap tempos and wide range of sounds. but still sounds good. and if i preset a delay sound, can i change the tempo each time i go to it? or is the tempo saved? for live use.

sounds like you want something like a tc nova delay. its digital and has presets, it has pretty decent modeling and is pretty budget friendly.
personally i use a malekko 616 (analog), but that does nothing of what you are looking for. i the looper i have also has dealys (digitech jamman w/delay) the delays are nice you can tap tempo them and sync with the rhythm. i always have my looper on my board, so sometimes i will just use the delays and not the actual looping. that also is pretty handy and the dgital modeling is pretty good.

Budget? What kind of delay do you want?
Your threads are way, way, way too vague man.

really should have linked this first:
Budget? - What is practical for you and what is your limit? Genres? - What style do you play mostly, fav guitarists, do you need cleans, etc? New or Used? - Lots of great amps out there used, especially in a down economy. Home or Gig? - Also important. Maybe you do both. Jamming with a drummer can be considered 'gigging' but you won't have a PA etc. Closest City? - We aren't here to stalk you but we need to know where you are in the world roughly and we can help further if we know what city you are in (ie craigslist, local shops, Guitar Center used section, etc) Current Gear? - Also good for us to know.
