That made me laugh. It's like,"but it IS craigslist, so you might get raped when you show up to buy that cab "

I'll check ebay out. - and I'll read more into peavey cabs. Thanks

I don't know much about cabs, how are these sheffield speakers? and is $235 a good price?

Sheffields aren't the greatest but you could do worse. I'd say that is a good deal.

Never tried a JCA50 but I really like my Vypyr tube 60. The Jet City and Vypyr are pretty different amps though.

Ok, now this Peavey 6534 plus has my attention... Supposed to be very comparable to the 6505 plus, but with better cleans. Any comments guys? http://www.guitarcenter.com/Peavey-...113-i1536772.gc

Have it delivered to the store and try it out there - and compare it with an off the shelf new one (if they have it). If not, take it home and if you have issues, you can return it to the store and not have to deal w/shipping and such.

Yep, no GC's in the Big Sky Country, same problem my son has...

So I buy him stuff and he has to come and retrieve it from me!

I meant to recommend Egnater last night. That is a great price on a used one too. I really like both the Vengeance and the Renegade. And yes - they make great cabs with quality speakers for the money. My GC has lots of Eggs on hand. Here is me busting out some Cleans and Br00talz on a Vengeance last year with a short clip. Playing is nothing special but it is versatile as hell.
