When watching older movies, do you ever...

I was watching Raiders Of The Lost Ark the other day and it got me wondering...
Do you ever check the credits of an older movie and see if there is an actor in there that was unheard of then, but made it big (or got better billing in a later movie)?

FYI, I saw Alfred Molina (Doc Ock in Spider Man 2). He was in Raiders Of The Lost Ark.
He lasted about 10 minutes in Raiders. He had a rather gruesome death.

So who was it and what older, and newer, movies were they in? (Actor and Character if you can remember).

Yeah, this thread will probably die cause I make shit threads.

I've never thought to do that

I'm terrible with names of actors/actresses though, so I probably wouldn't notice anyway

I usually go the opposite direction. Sometimes I look at an actor's filmography and see what flicks they were in when they were starting out.

I almost fell out of my chair when I saw king Joffrey from Game of Thrones cry for his mom in Batman Begins. I saw Batman Begins a few times before I started watching GoT but during the series I honestly didn't notice it was the same guy
Same goes for the dude on the wall in Game of Thrones who turned out to be Ewan McGregor's dad in Trainspotting.

A long time ago in the credits I saw: Vison by Panavision, Color by Technicolor.

Til this day when the credits roll I look to see if it says vision and color and if it is panavision and technicolor. So stupid. I have no idea why I do this.

If I see a little girl from a movie in the 90s, I check if she's hot now

Does this count?
I feel it should.

I do that too
I usually go backwards though. Even when it's a well known actor or actress, so I can see more of their work. Especially if they're in a movie/show that I am particularly interested in. Like before the new Spider-man movie, I watched a few of Andrew Garfield, Irrfan Khan and Rhys Ifans' movies.

Fun Fact, Alfred Molina was Dock Ock in Spider-Man 2 and Sally Fields was Aunt May in The Amazing Spider-Man. In "Not Without My Daughter", they were estranged husband and wife. That mirrors Aunt May and Doc Ock's short lived marriage in the comics.
I'm a bit obsessed with movies....especially comic book movies

I remember seeing that Jason Bateman was on like a dozen episodes of Little House on the Prairie

What usually happens to me is watching an old movie and thinking, "Wow! She's kinda hot!" Then immediately thinking, "Wait, she's like 60 now..."

I was amazed to see Vince Vaughn in Rudy as the halfback. He was like a little baby version of himself.

Saw "Shrooms", a bad slasher movie that you could buy cheap from Walmart.
Few months later I was surprised to see one of the main actors from that movie playing Richard Harrow in "Boardwalk Empire".
