hey guys wondering if any of you have come across any really good tutorial dvds for theory, technique etc intermediate level

Look on the lick library site.

Personally I dont think you need a dvd for theory. There is plenty to learn from on the internet. Just make sure you play what you are learning and not just read and write it.
