Need a Metal/Djent Amp $300
Budget: Around $300
Genres: Metal/Djent - Between the Buried and Me, Veil of Maya, Substructure, Circle of Contempt, Contortionist, Entities. I have a Boss Metal Zone that I have used in the past but I would like a good distortion on the amp. I also need good cleans though. New or Used: Preferably used (since I could get a better amp given my budget) Home or Gig: Mostly home. I'm not in a band or anything though I would maybe like to play with a drummer friend of mine. Closest City: I live in Stillwater, OK. Tulsa and OKC are both about an hour away. Current Gear: Peavey Envoy 110, Schecter Omen 6 I'm currently looking at a Peavey XXX 112. I've found one for sale in OKC (used) for $325 that I would be able to try before I buy. |

Looks like we found the same thing. I don't really see anything else on your CLs. http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/msg/3297922357.html
Check out the Peavey Ultra on eBay though.

Anything Peavey would definitely work. I second the Ultra. I had one and it could totally nail those tones. Thing was a beast.
