I've got a 57/62 set in my custom-built strat. Swampash body, maple neck + fretboard, sounds wonderful. A little pricey, like all Fender stuff, but worth the price in my opinion, they sound great.

i put 11's on my strat. huge difference. the advice with the ts really helped too. now a new set of pups doesnt seem necessary

Awesome, glad to help. I came in this thread and noticed everyone is just suggesting pups and such when really you have a pretty solid rig to do some SRV. Its always good to make what you have work, especially when it can do what you want it to do with a few tweaks.
