Well there's forums on this site full of advice.

For acoustic guitar maintenance ask here: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...isplay.php?f=27

For electric guitar maintenance: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...isplay.php?f=26

And for repair work you'd be best off in here: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...isplay.php?f=53

Welcome to the site

There's loads here who can help you, but a lot will depend on what needs doing & how confident you are that you'll be able to follow directions given over the internet.

If you need something major doing, you may well be better off taking the guitar to a local shop and having them fix it for you, there's always a risk that if you try doing something you aren't sure about you could do more harm than good.
