Maybe the new tc electronics x4? It's got a ton of delays and a nice 40 second looper.

I'm thinking a fuzz pedal, fuzz factories are great for rock and industrial, blackout effectors musket hits all bases, a hugely cheap but awesome pedal is the danelectro French toast, or a big muff or proco rat always works, if I had 400 and was starting over again I'd buy the rat, a boss dd20 delay, ehx small stone and a reverb.

how about a wah? Fulltone Clyde std, or deluxe (i have a standard and love it) or RMC. they are a little more expensive and may have a wait time. those go easily under $200 used. i paid $80 for my clyde std off of TGP.
what about a univibe type thing. or an octaver (the only one i have experince with is my voodoo lab proctavia). more fun than a fuzz IMO.
