Man, I need to use open tuning more often. It sounds way impressive.

you can play any song that you use bar chords in in open E i just found out that "hold my hand" by hootie and the blowfish is fairly easy to play in open e just bar 7 like playing a B barre chord then rinse repeat then barre 2 for the f open then barre 7 again play that a lil bit along with the song it fits and adds that kool litle twang to it too

"No Expectations" maybe? That's from the same album, "Beggar's banquet".

If you're looking for some outrageous slide tunes, (independent of tunings), check out "The Tattler",(Ry Cooder covered by Linda Ronstadt). And, "Memo From Turner", the Stones, with Ry cooder on slide. (I thik).

The Cave by Mumford & Sons, Over Now by Alice in Chains, Headmaster Ritual by The Smiths, and Pistol Dreams by The Tallest Man on Earth are the four I know how to play.
