Pretty much as said. Here's a real brief of the short story i have to do as part of my film studies and eventually go out and film. A requirement of the assignment is that there's a twist.

So there's a blind man drawing in a public place (probably a cafe) and looking into the distance being all blind and shit. There's 3 kids in the background, 2 of them having a good laugh at him and the other kind of just staring blanky not amused like his friends.
The blind man then breaks his pencil and is all devastated and just stops and closes his book. The 2 guys laughing walk out of the place laughing hysterically and the other boy is left there. He goes up to the blind man and stares for a moment then hands him one of his pencils from his pocket. He puts it in the mans hand and closes it. the man then smiles and gets up looking all blankly at the boy (cos he's blind yo) and they have this sort of moment. He then hands him the book and says "it's yours" and grabs his hand in a non homo way, then he walks away slowly with his walking stick and says "thank you". This is the point where the boy's all like what and the blind man is gone and he goes to open the book..

SO TLDR;

Dafuq is in the book? I'm looking for the most out there idea's possible.

EDIT: I'd also need a witty title that would fit the story too

Haha my inspiration for the story was i once saw some blind indian guy when i was in a greek cafe with a few friends at 11pm drawing lines really furiously all over this pad he had and just staring blankly into the distance. I thought it could be an idea for a story.

i'd say inside the book is a picture of the kid holding the pencil out for the blind man to take. not really a twist but it's interesting

This or a drawing of the boy in the future.

For a realistic twist he was once a famous author/artist who vanished from public eyes and sits quietly drawing things. Make the boy who didnt laugh an art student and that would explain him not laughing at the drawing even if they are bad(can be bad for effect).

The boy then uses the drawings as inspiration and the old man someday finds out from the boy who has now become a succesfull artist/author and just grins as if he knew it all along.
