I have a very old Cremona guitar. Is it worth anything? + pics

I`ve had my grandfathers guitars on my wall for a couple of years.
That was pretty much the guitar that made me play guitar because when I was a little kid I always used to play with it.
So he gave it to me.

My grandfather got this as a gift from my grandmother in the Czech Republic which at that time was Czechoslovakia. She bought it at some store in Prague 1964 I think.

So today I was cleaning my room and dusting off the guitar and I took it down from the wall and started to play on it.
I wondered which brand it was since there was no logo on the headstock I took a look into the sound hole and there was a little sticker that said:

Cremona, Luby.
Cremona is the brand and Luby is a town in the western part of the Czech.
It was made in the year 1963 it said also.

Since I am a big fan of Wes Borland I recalled that he got a couple custom built guitars from Cremona.
For example his weird 4 string guitar/bass hybrid.

Is this guitar worth anything?
Here are some pictures of it:

After all these years it still sound good!

it's worth something to you. value is relative. if it plays well, keep it. maybe your kids will appreciate it someday.

Head over the the acousticguitarforum. They are experts in things like this. Many luthieres there could probably give you the history of the company and maybe even some personal stories.

It's looks like it is still in a good shape, and the guitar it self looks like it would be a pleasure to play. You got a keeper no matter the cost
