I've been sleeping through most of them. The ones I went to were pretty boring, so I fell asleep in those too. I'm not a good student.

Apparently my problem is that I consider the questions beneath me. Which considering the NVQ is equivalent to a GCSE when I have 10 GCSEs A*-B, 4 A-levels and have studied at university, I think I'm fair in being disdainful of the coursework.

How comes you're doing an NVQ?

Orgo is pretty interesting, survey of criminal justice is also entertaining.

Enjoying the new major quite a bit.

College Algebra- bro I was in Calculus in high school, this shit's easy. I'm only taking it to help my gpa
Chemistry I- should probably be easier than it is, but it confuses the hell out of me almost every class
Intro to Teaching- easy, and pretty interesting and fun
Human Growth and Development- dear god why did I take this class? There's so much to know and so little I care about

It's part of my government funded apprenticeship. As well as on the job training I complete an NVQ over the course of a year. I decided to apply for an apprenticeship because I wouldn't be competing with graduates (graduates cannot start an apprenticeship) or people who had more work experience. I take a lower wage but by the end of it I will have full employee benefits and a good prospects ahead within the company.
Thankfully I didn't have to go into college to do the certificates in Level 2 Maths, English and ICT. I probably would have killed people if they'd made me do Level 2 Maths considering I started BSc Mathematics and Meteorology

Well it was meant to be a lmgtfy link but that's barely more useful. Basically, stop being lazy when you could very very easily find out what an NVQ is.

Ah fair enough, that's pretty clever. Which field are you working in?

Fire protection (extinguishers etc). Incredibly male dominated (according to one of our suppliers, I'm the 2nd female technician out of all their distributors) but I get on well with everyone and enjoy it. I love being able to work with my hands and not be stuck at a desk all day.

I found it to be the opposite. I was a music minor for one semester, until I found out that music studies really made me do a bunch of shit I didn't care for. I loved music theory, but things like sight-reading are bullshit to me (because I'll probably never use that ability). I since became a math minor.

I'm a Computer Science major, btw.

The assignments in social statistics are really easy, but I'm worried I'm not really learning too much so when the test comes I'm screwed...
Social Inequality is easy and I like the professor a lot
Criminology is pretty intense because the professor expects a lot, but it'd very interesting so I don't really mind...
Oral Communication for Spanish is going well because it's helping me break out of my shell and talk more in Spanish
Latin American Lit is hard as **** because I can't understand the teacher: her Puerto Rican accent and the speed of her talk, and we read a lot of really hard poetry and shit in Spanish that I barely understand.
