What's your favorite Music Movie?

What's your favorite Music Movie? Musicals and stuff like that would count too I guess.
Don't know if there has ever been a thread like this, but I'm lazy and I'll do whatever the **** I want!

Mine would be August Rush (call me a emotional loser if you want, but that movie always gets to me)
Discuss below!

Control is probably my favorite. It's a movie about Ian Curtis the lead singer of Joy Division for those who didn't know.

Not seen it, heard it's not bad though. I have that Rockstar film with Mark Wahlberg & Miles Kennedy at home I've yet to watch.

I didn't know that existed, but I bet Mark Wahlberg plays the part of a rockstar convincingly. He's had experience with the real thing.

Rockstar is a pretty good movie tbh. Rock of ages is a typical non-famous people living in holywood love story, girl = stripper, boy = trying to make it.
Some good covered journey and foreigner songs
It's the same style as highschool musical (they talk, then suddenly, they sing )

I'm going with "Repo! The genetic opera" as my all-time favorite. "Fiddler on the roof" is very good to IMO. "School of Rock" is always fun to watch. I'm sure there are others but those stick out in my head.
