Repo! The Genetic Opera was amazing. SLC Punk is probably my favorite, though, if it counts.

The Edge was an embarrassment to himself in that film, there was also the part when Jimmy Page had to tell him how to play his own song

Don't think Crossroads has been mentioned yet and that amazes me.

Personal favourites are:
Wayne's World
Almost Famous
24 Hour Party People
High Fidelity
Rock Star

Spinal Tap.
School of Rock.
Tenacious D.
Jeff Healey is fucking awesome, so Roadhouse.
I've been meaning to watch Rockstar.

This isn't really a movie, but Metal: A Headbanger's Journey is awesome.

Three-way tie between The Producers, Spinal Tap and School of Rock.
Although the new Les Mis movie might top those, occasional stunt casting aside. Aaron Tveit and Samantha Barks will make that movie worth the price of admission alone.

Edit: OH, and the Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway release was pretty awesome too.
