Jazz vs.blues technique

I'm inquiring about the technical difference between blues and jazz guitar. I understand the different time periods and origins of these music genres but i want to further understand the actual differentiation of the technique applied to both of these styles (chord differences, scale differences, etc.) I wanna know you know

What you're asking isn't technique as such. It's more about musical devices and approaches.

1) Do you listen to much Blues and Jazz in particular?
2) This will be much better off in Musician Talk forum.

I agree - moved.

You're not really asking about technique, your asking about theory.
