I'll Never Try Again (Acoustic Ballad-type thing)

Okay, this is a song that I wrote for someone that I (romantically) really care about. I'll share the chord progression if it'll help you get a better feel for the song. I'll be sure to critique if you help me out. Thanks in advance.

I find
That you don't know me as
Well as you could...

I say
That you don't want to
Know me anyway...

It's all
As well that I don't see you
Anymore...

But I
Will never be as happy as
I was before...

So I'll stay...
So I'll stay...

I will
Probably never experience
This again...

I'm not
Really one to
Take chances...

I will
Probably never experience
This again...

I'm not
Really one to
Take second chances...

Take second chances...

I'll second guess this...

Most likely
Get it wrong
And then I'll never
Try again

I'll never try again...
I'll never try again...

Chances are
I will never try again...

(Short fingerpicking sequence ensues, then song ends...)

What did you guys think? Basically, I liked the girl, she was trying to become more friendly with me, but I'm a naturally shy person. I found out that I'm moving soon, so I took a chance to tell her that I like her. She feels the same, but is scared to date me and get too attached because I'm leaving. I asked her to reconsider, I'm now awaiting her answer. I wrote this to try and project some of these feelings out through music. I may record it and send it to her if she says no, just so she can get a better idea of how I feel. I'll still play it for her if she says yes.
