Despite actually working in a music shop, my knowledge is limited. I stick to fixing the broken ones. I'm not a salesman.

So, I strongly recommend you look at GG&A (http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...isplay.php?f=33). Having said that, look at an Egnater Rebel 30 if you're so against modelling. Honestly though, the Vyper 60 has a tube output section and sounds pretty good for the price.

In all honesty i think the TS wants the moon on a stick. Having such specific requirements in mind and wanting to do it on a budget just isn't realistic. It's tantamount to saying I want a guitar that plays and sounds like a 2000 ESP or PRS but i only want to spend 600 and it must do xyz on top.

Let me get this straight. You're asking how to do it off the very people that told told you not to do it?
If you were my apprentice you'd be spending a day trapped under the floor. Seriously, man - wtf?

If you can't do this then recommend the next best thing, being either a mod to my amp or a new cab or a new speaker or new pickups.

You are a real piece of work...

What I have read so far. I wish to directly contradict everything you have just advised me to do, what would be the best way of doing that? Failing that can I get a 2 channel jazz/metal amp for 200 without modeling?
