Despite actually working in a music shop, my knowledge is limited. I stick to fixing the broken ones. I'm not a salesman.
So, I strongly recommend you look at GG&A (http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...isplay.php?f=33). Having said that, look at an Egnater Rebel 30 if you're so against modelling. In all honesty i think the TS wants the moon on a stick. Having such specific requirements in mind and wanting to do it on a budget just isn't realistic. It's tantamount to saying I want a guitar that plays and sounds like a £2000 ESP or PRS but i only want to spend £600 and it must do xyz on top.

 What I have read so far. I wish to directly contradict everything you have just advised me to do, what would be the best way of doing that? Failing that can I get a 2 channel jazz/metal amp for 200 without modeling?
