High Upon The Wall (rock, hard to describe) - C4C

Hey all,
Thought I'd share another track I've been working on lately called:
High Upon The Wall

The vocal recording peaks a bit at times but I came down with a cold that knocked my voice out so I can't redo!

I'll return the favor with a critique if you supply a link.

Drumkit From Hell, Gearbox guitar tones, Cubase 5, POD Toneport UX2

Lyrics:

The nothingness is so thick
And the silence is so loud
When nil excites you anymore
It's best to write it out

The ink inside keeps a hero alive
Allows me to see
Who I am, what I've become
And what I would think of me

I pulled out your pen out from my side
Lo and behold it began to write
Words began to fall

Keeping in time as the days pass by
Since the vertigo and the indigo fly
High upon the wall
High upon the wall

And I can't understand why
The sad images are burned in my eyes
And I can't help the meek at all
Sipping on alcohol from a hole in the wall

Call me crazy
But I'm not about to let the angels fly to the sea
Call me crazy
But I'm not about to let the angels fly to the sea

What's happened? Can't find myself
Got an issue with my heart
Swear I felt it stop today
Dizzy and sick, bring someone quick!
No fix I heard'em say

There's ink inside that keeps us alive
Allows us to see
Who we are, what we've become
And what would keep us free

Call me crazy
But I'm not about to let the angels fly to the sea
Call me crazy
But I'm not about to let the angels fly to the sea

I pulled out your pen out from my side
Lo and behold it began to write
Words began to fall

Keeping in time as the days pass by
Since the vertigo and the indigo fly
High upon the wall
High upon the wall

Ha that's pretty sick. I like the switch between the different singing styles, nice idea. I feel kind of embarrassed asking a better singer than I am, but would you mind checking mine out?

This is awesome! I love the weird noises you made that panned around during the song, they were really awesome! Vocals are excellent for sure and I really liked the chord progression you did at 1:20, that went really nicely with the vocals.

Sounds really good dude! I fave'd your track
