What's your amp, what's your guitar, what kind of sound are you going for?
I wouldn't say any of them were particularly outstanding pedals, though the Metal Muff is tons of fun. |

Well, if you have a Vypyr 30, any distortion pedal would probably be money spent in vain. The modeling on the amp wouldn't let a distortion pedal really help your sound out that much. I've heard the Vypyrs sound nice for playing in the house with the right dialing.

Do you absolutely have to have an immediate button switch from clean to distortion? If not, you don't need the Sanpera Footswitch. A distortion pedal won't really help an Envoy either. Sorry, man.

Neither of them are that wonderful for a Metallica or Megadeath sound. If you're that set on them, go with the regular EHX MM. Don't get the Micro. It's not quite as good...up to the individual, but most people agree with that.

Have you tried going to a shop that stocks them and trying them out for yourself? They will sound different with whatever amp you plug them into, so what works for us may not work for you.
TBH, the best advice has already been given - pedals aren't much help if you're using a modelling amp. If you really want to compare sounds, search youtube for reviews. Alternatively, if they're on Thomann there will be samples of each pedal done with similar equipment so you can do a direct comparison.
