So you know the sound that the bass makes before you actually start a song? I've tried to figure out what it is so I can do it at shows just for fun but I've had trouble figuring it out. Does anyone know it? At 0:13 of this video is where it's at.

fast look listen that is E AG A on the E string with so much compression that it is almost and organ envelope.

It actually does sound like an attempt to mimmick the sound you can get when you pick up a bass from a stand or something that's already plugged in as your hand holding it by the neck frets a few notes.
