Jackson js32r dinky

So trying to play a decent guitar on a budget, came across some very well priced Jackson js32r's with a locknut, and Floyd rose tremolo. One of which with a bag was 199$. How is this guitar given the price?

Pretty good.

Sure, I've modded mine (more than it says in my signature), but it's a decent guitar. Neck is nice and flat.

And the LFR isn't SO bad...

I heard the Epiphone Special series is shit.

But they're both different monsters. Jackson is MEANT for metal (but can do everything) and come with the Floyd Rose and very thin necks.

Gibson/Epiphones, as a majority, aren't really made FOR metal and generally have fatter necks (which some say limits speed, but that's personal preference) and won't have a Floyd.

Get the Jackson.

Doesn't matter. If you have the right amp, you can make an EMG-ladened Jackson sound like a jazz box. Saying that a guitar is made for one style or another is pretty meaningless.

I know, and I agree.

Because a lot of people, like myself, feel that a thinner neck makes for faster movement, and since metal calls for that, there you go.

Sure, there's exceptions, but that's just how I feel.

What about Jazz and Bluegrass?

That calls for a pretty fast neck too.

Depends on the Jazz.

And you won't really find jazz and bluegrass played much with humbuckers (which haven't been mentioned, but eh)

Ew. Free Jazz.

Also a bad example. Jazz Fusion would've been acceptable.

But none of this matters.

The point is that no single guitar is really made for a certain kind of music.
