How should I play this?
I think this is where this belongs...it feels odd posting in here. Having been here 3 years now and never posting in here
 I was wondering if any of you guys could tell me the best way to play the attached file? I've attached the pattern of the notes into the file, and realise that it wouldn't be played on the one string, but was wondering where it should be played. I have some ideas (one of which is starting on the C note of the G string), but not being super experienced in this kind of lead work, I thought I'd ask some people who know what they're doing! Thanks a MILLIOn guys. Cheers

I would play it on one string. One Example would be the Downfall solo by Children Of Bodom, where a similar run is played this way.
You could play it starting with the C note on the D string and then gradually going up like in the file I attached, but I find the first way more comfortable. |

Sweet! Thanks for such a speedy reply! I have no idea how the hell I'd be able to do it all on the bottom string, but I'll give it a shot. Oh, and my guitar has 22 frets, so I tried playing that tab, but changing the string where the fret was above 22. It is a little uncomfortable I must say though. Thanks a ton
Any other ideas/suggestions?

Ah, you should have said that your guitar only had 22strings, then the change would be indeed uncomfortable!
 I've customized the tab a bit more, should be easier now. |

Yeah I forgot to mention that minor detail
My bad.That was a bit better yeah, thanks. In the while that I was waiting for another response I made this one, using the same notes. Any comments on this one?
