7-string Shred/Prog/Thrash metal - Vocals/Instrumentals - C4C

My latest song "The Sundering" is the fifth song for the Shattered Shards of a Pieceless Puzzle demo. Also, the first of the five to contain vocals. It's very dark, and ambient.

For instrumental fans, the fourth song is "Fragments of Tranquility", a very laid back, bluesy song. This song still takes my breath away. Wrote it on the first snow this year, and it really reflects the mood.

I hope you guys can enjoy my passion for music as much as I do creating it. All comments, and crit are welcome, and thanks for checking them out!

Instrumentally The Sundering reminds me a lot of Forbidden and Testament, great variety of riff ideas and dynamics, never gets boring. Vocals fit the sound well, slightly sharp towards the beginning but otherwise well-performed. Fragments of Tranquiluty didn't sustain my interest as much, tended to hover aorund the same areas more. The first half could have been condensed imo, the second half however is better especially the big guitar solo. Very good drum parts for both songs also. Mixwise both songs are generally quite good, they could do with having a warmer low end but I understand these are demos.

Hey, I listened to a couple of your songs. You have a tight sound, quality recordings too. The guitars are really good like dead on for timing. My only issue is I'm not a fan of programmed drums, would like to hear how your songs sound with real drums. Overall I was very impressed man, nice work!

I just uploaded a new song, check it out. It's blues rock:

I'm working on getting a setup so I can actually record myself playing... but money has been damn tight lately, and... unfortunately it's on the back burner. I've found over the years, that drums make the songs, and I hate knowing that it could be better... but alas... no money. Lol.

Deem that was tight ! Good songwriting and that guitar playing so accurate. That riff in fractured gaze what starts around 3.15 deem nice! And those clean parts mmm I bet you use line 6 pod or something like that in guitars? Drums are kinda thin, but that doesnt bother me. Its "the" thing in this day modern metal :P Toontracks dfh or metalheads? Singing could be more. Singers sound is nice, melodic and ballsy This is some of the best stuff ive listened in UG forum.
