So, my speakers finally given up the ghost.

And I need some new ones. Preferably under 100, obviously in the UK.

Any suggestions?

They will be for music from my tablet or laptop mainly.

For that budget you're better of buying good headphones.

Nah I want speakers. I do not need incredible studio speakers, literally just something to listen to my music. My set that just died was 50 and they sounded great fir what I need so I would like to keep it under 100.

What you really need is a new amp.

Do a google search for "Creative Inspire T6100" they're fvcking sick, like 56 and're loud as fvck. I have spyware on my pc that takes all my google links to other sites so I can't link you myself, but deffo get these. The bass is lovely on them as well, and you can pick however many speaker thingies you want depending on ur budget.

These are actually good if you plan on just using them as computer speakers or jamming.

They're horrible for mixing though, as they're not true studio monitors.

Creative do cheap and good quality speakers. If you're just looking for something that'll replace the God-awful speakers on a laptop (or similar to that), they're really good.

I just hate their sound

Some high end speakers, I can hesr why they're so much- Bowers & Wilkins 800D and their CT800 surround speakers, which I listened to at their factory were phenomenal, at 28k and 280k (9.4 config, including projector, screen, amps, processors etc) respectively. Linn Akkurate and the higher end Meridian stuff just sounded dead.
