Gibson's Learn & Master Guitar DVD's

Hi All,

I am kind of a beginner... In that, I have mucked around with a guitar for 15 years or so, which means that I know a lot of chords both open and bar... But not much else.
Dont know any scales or anything like that. I have just bought my first electric guitar (Gibson Les Paul) and am looking to improve my playing.

Has anyone used or seen the Gibson Learn & Master Guitar DVD package?

It has got some awesome reviews and many people say that it is great bang for your buck compared to getting proper guitar lessons with a human.

Would it be good for a semi beginner?
I struggle with reading books as a way of learning.

It is on sale from The Book Depository for $91.80 (Australian)
