Waves for string orchestra, flute and harp (C4C)

I'm attempting to get into writing film/video game music and here's the first shot at it. I deliberately avoided giving this piece too much momentum as I was going for an ambient and peaceful feel for the composition. Let me know what you think!

I like.

What software did you use? (assuming those aren't real instruments)

I used Sibelius 6 to write the music and a free VST called Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra. It's the best free orchestral VST you can get!

Did you actually pay the ~300$ for Sibelius or does your college/school/uni have a copy?

I split the cost with a friend since you can register Sibelius on multiple machines.

Wow, for a Sibelius piece this is really well put together! I know you're going for the ambient feel however I cant help but feel as though it needs a tad more low end thrown in there just to balance things out nicely, just a really simple bass line maybe? Otherwise great stuff, especially loved the keys at the start.

If you could check out my latest instrumental that would be appreciated cheers! http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...d.php?t=1570652
