ESP LTD EC256 - Are These Good?

I have been looking at les paul style guitars (the Vintage V100, Epiphone Les Paul Standard, Vintage V100AFD Paradie and this) and the ESP LTD EC256 seems to be the best les paul out of these and the ch cheapest alongside the Vintage V100 which is the same price. I am considering buying it. Any opinions?

Pretty good, yeah. A Plus Top Pro (Epiphone, about the same price as a Standard) is probably going to be pretty decent as well.

What are you looking to spend, and what region are you in? If you are in the US, you may be able to get an EC1000 used for around $500.

I see EC1000's used for cheap all the time. There is a see through green one on Chicago craigslist right now for $400 looks to be in good shape too.

I have no experience with them. I would however like to recommend playing an Epiphone standard if you haven't already. They are really nice guitars for the money. I have owned ltds in the past, and today's Chinese epi's have been WAY better quality. As Samurai said the Plus tops are even nicer, and I see epi lp ultras for 400 used here in dallas.
