Crashing

Here is a song I just finished. The cell phone demo is linked at the bottom if you want to hear it. I would love to hear what some people think about it. This is the title track to a record I am writing entitled "crashing" of course.

Lyrics:

Oh baby, turn the radio up
I just canít get enough of this feeling
never turn it down
forget about this town
baby letís rip out the ceiling

this is unintentional
and itís unconventional
will i feel it in the morning
when i wake up and give you a call
iíll roll with the punches
til theres nothing left to do but fall

and then you
turn away
and theres nothing left to say
iím lonely but i will be okay
i promise not to bring you with me while Iím crashing

This is getting to be
a real comfortable thing
and i hope that you see it tomorrow
we can take it slow
darling donít you know
wherever you go I will follow

*The chorus and bridge will repeat another time i think, not sure about arrangement yet. I might make another verse.

*Also I am new to writing and singing. Any tips would be much appreciated.

The phrase "turn away" and "dont you know I will follow" seems to me like she is upset with him yet he follows her which to me implys a sinister nature, and what I believe what was meant was something more sincere. My advice to you sir ( because you say your new to writing) is to never sacrifice meaning for rhymes. My apologies if I offend

The song is about wanting to be with someone really bad, but being really good friends, and that person telling you they want to not be with you anymore. It is about not being upset and being mean and making that person hate you for not wanting to get serious. The versus are about the feelings and being confused, the chorus is the inevitable crash. I posted a better version on my soundcloud

I don't guess I understand why you can't want to follow someone even if they turn away. That's the point of the song. You can't follow them, or you hurt them. That's why you aren't bringing them while you are crashing. *shrugs* I thought it made sense, haha

Oh I thought this was about a breakup, that's why I was confused I thought she left him and he still went after her, which for some reason now makes sense to me and I now understand what you were saying my apologies indeed
