NGD. 2012 HSS MIA Strat.

Hi Ugers. After i sold my Prs Custom 24 i didnt want an expensiv guitar, i wanted a work horse.

So i went down to my nearest dealer and checked out some guitars. I tested a couple of teles and other strats, didnt find any i liked. Then he showed me this 2012 standard hss strat. As a former Fender Custom Shop Strat owner i didnt expect much.

But oh my god!

Sound The middel and neck singel coils are Custom Shop Fat 50s they are almost perfect. Really fat sounding, yet they are glassy. The humbucker are an diamondback suprisingly good! Reminds me of Seymoure Duncan 59.

Action The guitar was brand new, right out of the box. Well i wasent great, the strings where to low and the bridge was at an odd angle. But after an adjustment it was epic!

Finish The coulor is called Sienna Sunburst and the first time i saw it i didnt like it, but after seeing this guitar with it i really liked it.

Conclusion If you want a really good strat with an humbuker buy this. you dont want an humbuker buy the SSS version. I bought my first MIA strat in 2007 and it was crap. This 2012mod is just awsome. Buy it!

Oh and i also installed an coil splitt for the humbuker!

Your spelling is awful.

Nice guitar though.

This is maybe the worst comparison in the history of comparisons.

Cool... but I expected more than just stock pictures. And spotting your misspelling is kinda hilarious

What's with all the spelling comments? Lol, it's not like he's the first member from a foreign country. D:

Anyways, it's good to know that you can still find "gems" in new models coming out.
Trying out a wide variety of models and different years of production at a shop surely does wonders sometimes, and you seem to have found a good example. Best of luck with it.

Cherry burst strats are always a fantastic choice.
