5.1 Surround Sound
Hi Pit, I want to get some 5.1 surround sound speakers for my xbox, hopefully as cheap as possible, but I'm not sure what I'm looking at. I use a HDMI cable to plug the xbox into the TV, and have the audio cable that plugs into the other socket that has an optical output and red and white RCA.
I think I'm correct in thinking that I can only get 5.1 through the use of the optical, but not sure what I'm looking for in the sense of easy set up speakers where I just plug them into the optical output and put them all in the right place. I see all this receiver stuff and home cinema ones that have speakers and DVD/Blu Ray player built together or something. Any help is much appreciated, thanks! |

Pioneer makes a 5.1 sound system for the 360. I used to have one and it was awesome. When I bought one it was only $200. If they still make it you should check it out. Click here
