Poopy metalcore Gp5 (C4C)
some guy made a thread in Musician Talk about a chord asking what is was. It inspired me to make this. I wanna make the riff flow into the solo. That is why the empty spaces are there... Not sure how I'm gonna go about it though.

Couldn't hear the poopy influences, but I really enjoyed the glitched intro, the guitar was verhhhy soothing

Hi.
I really enjoyed the change into the heavy part, as well as the solo. It's somewhat hard for me to judge whether or not the echoing screams at the start would be effective, as obviously they're not accurately represented here. However, the rhythm of that track seems to mesh well with your melodic clean guitar. I don't have any criticism, really, other than that it is perhaps a bit generic (although I don't think the solo was bland or anything). I don't listen to much metalcore, so perhaps some of the subtleties of the genre are lost on me. However, I think you've done a good job and made good note selections here. The lyrics could use some work, though I assume they're just placeholders at this stage. I also found the drums somewhat repetitive and lacking fills. Overall, though, I enjoyed this. C4C? http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...d.php?t=1571658 Edit: I've uploaded the gp5 file now.

at first i thought that the song is just like those electronica metalcore /post hardcore/ whatever is it. And when the solo start at bar 29, i was flattened....
for me, it just need to have the transition from the chugging part to the solo

Maybe I'll add some more diminished and minor arpeggio/chords. I feel they best transcend the horrific nature of human existence. |

KsE are terrible and I'd say TS improved on them.

+1 A few notes change could be made to way I ordered it now to make it flow better but that's the general idea which I think it is pretty sweet. Last edited by 21Fretter : 11-10-2012 at 10:36 AM. |

That transition is still a bit too iffy. plus I don't really want to rephrase lines in the solo. good attempt though. |
