I am looking to sell my Marshall jcm900 50w hi gain mkiii and a marshall 1960a lead 4x12 to go with it, they are both in almost new condition (some minor cosmetic issues) and i was thinking like $600ish for the head and $400 for the cab.. Do you guys think that is fair?

No that model head is very sought after. I'd ask a little more, maybe around $800 or $900 if you're feeling particularly greedy.
for the cab, yeah around $400 is a good price if it's in good condition. ask $300 if you want it gone. haha and sorry to whoever was gonna buy the amp... |

Promise me two things:
1- Sell them seperate 2- Be patient! That way you get the most for what it is. I think you can sell the cab for $350 and the head for $550, when you are REALLY patient, you can add a hundred bucks per item.

the Mk III head is a great amp and people are willing to pay for them. check out some of Ebay's completely listings. I'd ask $800 OBO.

Does the wattage matter? All i can find on ebay is 100w versions to go off of.

This - it's always the best way to see what buyers are prepared to pay rather than what sellers hope to get.
