I came up with this verse for a song. The following was thought up by me, and if it exists already, it's a coincidence.

It's about a bad cop in charge of a manhunt or something and is very loosely based on GTA An Andreas.

I also came up with a riff to go with it

^ that is played on the bottom 3 strings of some kind of drop tuning, muted during the verse then open between.

Anyone have anything to say about it or something to add?

Yeah.... that nu-metal was so inbred in the early 2000's that even if this song was terrible, you might've made it big.

Nu metal is metal combined with rap, right? You could growl the lyrics and it's metalcore, or add some record scratches and it's rap metal.

That's not my main genre, nu metal, but my thrash songs are less developed than this one.

No please don`t mix growl into it! Not metalcore-ish growl. Or let him mix whatever he wants, nu-metal is after all a mix of genres.

The nu-metal I write and like are those with rapped verses and heavy refrains. And also weird bridges that could be really groovy or have this little stick that builds up and go into a last altered refrain.

Just listen to Stuck from Limp Bizkit and you`ll see what I mean
