Good deal for ESP Eclipse? (Calling Offworld)

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/la...3410736146.html

Found this on CL. $600 seems like a good price since the rest of the ones listed are $900+.

Any good reason for me not to pick this up?

I dont know much about ESP, but something that throws me off is the bolt on neck. Now they may have done it then, but I thought they were set neck.

For all we know, it could just be an LTD EC-50 someone is trying to pass off as a real ESP.

True story. The other day in a Pawn Shop I saw a LTD Viper with an ESP headstock logo.
It looked as if someone put over the top of the LTD logo. You couldnt see the LTD but the 12th fret marker said LTD 350 or something like that

Thought it was too good to be true. I'll try and see if I can find out about the bolt neck thing.

I think you can do better for $600. But I'm also just saying that because I think that guitar looks boring as ****.

I had one once, I got it on craigslist for $60 (no joke). It was missing the pickups but besides that it was all good. I sold it to a buddy of mine and he's been enjoying it ever since. I wouldn't pay $600 for one, but it's not an outrageous price.

I wouldn't pay $600 either, but you will have the chance to play it and see if it's good. It is a very basic-looking LP imo, and you can get a lot of guitar on the used market in the $600 range.
