Capo 3 (if you have one) Relative to the Capo
The picking pattern is. e B G-----2--------2---------2-------2 D---2--------2--------2-------2----2 A-0-------2--------4-------5 E Chords after that for the Chorus are ---A---Amaj7(Variation)----D Variation of some sort e 0----0---------------------0 B 0---0----------------------3 G 2---1----------------------2 D 2---2----------------------0 A 0---0----------------------0 E 0---0----------------------0 That sounds like it. If you have an extra guitar, the fill would be e------9------(this first x4, then) B----5---5--- G-6---------6 D- A- E- e------7------(this second x4, then) B----3---3--- G-4---------4 D- A- E- e------5------(this last x4) B----3---3--- G-2---------2 D- A- E- Last edited by wy2sl0 : 11-13-2012 at 05:07 PM. |

Future tip: when you're trying to find chords yourself, it helps to find the root note and go from there. For example, you hear a chord, move your finger around the bass strings to find the note that sounds 'right'. It may take some time to get down, but you'll want to practice if you hope to figure them out on your own eventually.

Good advice Joe. I suck at learning by ear but I've noticed power chords are my best friend when trying to learn a song. Generally you can find a powerchord in every song or at least some form of one. Then its just learning what adds to make right?
I really gotta try to learn by ear more. |
