the digital world does this my including filters on the repeat signals, cutting out high end. the 'morphing' effect i talk about is the 'swirly' kinda sounds you get by adjusting reverb time.

an extra bonus is the the DD-7 can also use an expression pedal for control any parameter in real time... meaning you can 'move' the repeat time knob without touching the pedal.

i'll see if i can do a demo for ya so you can hear it.

The EHX memory boy is good for the time change/warping effect. It has an input for an expression pedal that controls the delay time. My ears tell me it's not as clear as the carbon copy, but that could just be me. Either way, definitely worth checking out since it's $25 cheaper. Or, for another 40$, you could grab a memory boy deluxe, with tap tempo.
