Hi guys, not been on here for a while(been busy)but anyway.............I've got a Squire P-Bass and the G string appears to be "dead" at the lower end of the fingerboard,up to the 7th fret;how can I cure this?

Dead is a pretty ambiguous term. Mind clarifying?

I think he means a dead note on the fretboard.
For now, just raise the action a little bit to see if that helps; taking an Affinity to a luthier to have the frets leveled would cost more than the bass. |
