I saw that there is a good deal on a digital download of the EZ Drummer software on Musician's Friend. I plan on buying myself a new desktop computer for my home studio around January.

That being said, my question is this... If I download the software, would it be possible to burn it to a disk and put it on another computer in the future? I would not be activating the software until I install it on my desktop, so it would only be on one computer. I am just unsure as to whether this digital download would allow me to burn it to a disk or not.

You don't have to download it at all. It stays in your Toontrack account and you can download it at any time.

Okay... So upon downloading the software I would be prompted to create an account with Toontrack where the download would be stored until activation. Gotcha, I think I understand now. Thanks for your patience as I am very new to this. Cheers, bud!
